anthropomorphic bugs!! yesss
the design is so cohesive and stylish. the wasp elements are so clearly readable and well-translated/transformed into the silhouette and all the shapes. intimidating yet elegant ♥
the inked, scratchy Pastel Games-esque style works so well for this too.

i'm surprised you haven't been scouted yet. people will definitely love your art here too! ^ ^

xlallistar responds:

omg thank you so much! im glad you like my art and buggies! ❤❤❤❤❤

aa i love the colors! like soft crystalline auroras,, then again, this sort of style is one of my absolute favourites.
it all feels quickly painted in, almost effortlessly; yet the shapes are quite clear, like you knew exactly how much to render and where.

amazing work!!

CuteNikeChan responds:

wow!! i really appreciate it!! that's so kind of you, i'm so glad! ♪ (❁´◡`❁)

so small and cute ;; what will they draw,
the character design is very sweet. natural, lowkey cottagecore, pleasant! the square eyes are quite the art style choice.

on the technical side, I can see imperfections (like areas unfilled with color due to the lineart, color differences between the two frames, the redraw feeling casual rather than purposeful) -- it would be interesting to see more like this done with more polish, and possibly readapted to the center and given a background if meant to be uploaded as a standalone gif. the potential is there!

I can totally see this at the bottom side of a video, stream or banner. it looks like that was the idea though :D

orangemilkshakee responds:

Thank you very much for the advice

aa I love the simplicity! the linework's cleanliness and weight variation really frame the character well. other art you've uploaded seems to have different lineart styles, slightly less polished in terms of line connections, some colored... they're all likewise very charming :D

they look so adorable too♥ an OC?
regardless, I'd love to see more ^ ^

cat astronaut where will they go

this feels spontaneous in the way it was sketched+rendered... like spur-of-the-moment inspiration. I love that ♥
the mix of clothing/design aesthetics is very charming too. I wonder if the head covering just represents standard astronaut uniforms or actually is/incorporates the look of a hijab. is this an OC? I'd love to know more!

I really look forward to seeing more work of yours :D

gelatookiyo responds:

planet of cats! to serve them sushi ฅ'ω'ฅ thank you so much for your kind words!♥ the head covering is actually a hijab ^o^ yup! it's an OC, I didn't give her a name yet ‘︿’ thanks a bunch! have a nice day ≧∇≦

t-tini....,,
these are so adorable!! they'd be so cool as stickers, custom keychains or fridge magnets.
I'd be curious to see how it'd look if the shape of the border was more polished/felt more solid and deliberate... you definitely have the skill+aesthetic eye to pull that off imo!

nice work ^ ^

Cakejem responds:

Aww, thanks! I keep that advice in mind next time I draw

woah :O that's such a sweet aesthetic! so detailed. the rough traditional (or traditional-inspired) lines really deliver that intricacy.

my favourite elements are the star-eye top-center, those strange tube-bell things opening into the circular clearing top-right and the whole leftside section.
the latter is nicely broken up in geometrical sections; it reminds me of a tarot card-carved stone in front of a sculpted pillar... I love it.
OTOH, I feel like some other elements clash against others, making it feel less cohesive than it could have been. I see, for example, the idea of the intestine-looking things and they look very cool on their own, but surrounded by the little squares and the beehive/trypophobia(?) section (also very cool!) it feels like there's too much crammed in one spot.
but this shows the variety of things you're able to create in this style. I'm curious to see more.

if I had the money and was looking for something of this aesthetic, I'd so commission you for something like this! :D

Palmerieye responds:

damn, thank you so much for the more in-depth analysis🙏, i hardly ever receive this type of comment.

When i originally made this collage, i was really just focusing on making it the most visually dense thing i could make with my drawings at the time, so yeah, looking back, a lot of areas are not really that cohesive, like those low opacity eyes on the right side and overly cramped, low contrast things on the bottom right.

I love messy styles like these so much. just the right touches in the right places~
your style is so lovely;;♥ I love what you have in your gallery!

CuteNikeChan responds:

hhh youre so sweet, thank you!!

parappa boyfriend best friends.......... wholesome 100
they're so cute!

NeonShambles responds:

Thanks

that expression... :0
shy, subdued, tired, but also knowing, a lil bit haunting.

overall seemingly simple, but imo it works very well! then again, I really like messy brushy/sketchy art.

gaettuce responds:

thank you!! :b
